Kinabalu Park Daytrip

0830 hours pick up at hotel and depart for a 2 hours journey through breath taking scenery to Kinabalu Park, 88 km from Kota Kinabalu. Kinabalu Park is dominated by Mount Kinabalu, one of the highest peaks in Southeast Asia at 4,095 metres. The park is home to an incredible variety of plants and animal species and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000. Upon arrival take a guided nature walk with a park naturalist and then explore the park’s botanical garden, which showcases some of the many species of plants that can be found within the park. Have lunch at a local restaurant and in the afternoon visit the gallery on the park’s botanic diversity before returning to Kota Kinabalu.
