Sepanggar Island Day Tour

Meet at Counter 12 in the main ticketing hall of Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal at 0930 hours. Depart the terminal at 0945 hours for the 15-minute boat ride to Sepanggar Island. Enjoy a relaxing day at the beach, go snorkelling or take a walk in the forest. Mask, snorkel and beach towels are provided. Basic washroom facilities are available on the island. At 3.2 square miles in size, Sepanggar is larger than some of the other islands offshore from Kota Kinabalu Island but Sepanggar receives less visitors. Sepanggar is covered in rainforest and is home to a resident population of hornbills. If you are lucky you may see a hornbill in the forest or near the beach. Long tailed macaque monkeys are also frequently seen near the beach. Have lunch at the Mari Mari Sepanggar Island Lodge. 1500 hours board a boat and return to Kota Kinabalu.
